Calling all Festies! This weekend we’re closing in on Wave One of our Fest Quest success, where the community has journeyed off to several worlds of music to share those unique experiences with the rest of the community! The goal is to inform, inspire, and indulge in the feelings and connections that we so crave in the festival space. Though the weather is cooling down, the festival energy is not even close to ending. We’re carrying the excitement through every season, so stay tuned for what’s comin next.

After locking in all the teams for Cascade Equinox, Portola and Life is Beautiful, we’re ready to announce the next fest destinations that the Cosmic Caravan is prepping for.
We’ve all become fairly aware of climate changes’ impact on even the subtle nuances of our lives. But recently, we’ve noticed it disrupting the bigger moments. There is obviously work that needs to go into how we shift our relationship with the environment, but this article gives us some more knowledge on the current impact. There are several festivals working with a prime eco-conscious motivation, so look into it and consider ways it could work.
The state of Georgia finally got to celebrate Imagine Music Festival this past weekend, and from all the content we’ve seen in the media, FOMO is hitting hard. We’re happy to share that our good friend and festival lover and Izza Bizza has been and is currently taking over our TikTok to share her experience from the weekend. Be sure to follow along as she reviews the festival, shares footage from some of her favorite sets, and shows off her crew’s insane camping setup.
@festisiahq More to come! Stay tuned😎 #imf23 #imagine #imaginemusicfestival2023 #vlog #takeover @Izza bizza
A few of our Festies hit Sea.Hear.Now festival in Asbury Park last weekend. With headliners The Killers and Foo Fighters, the beach was filled with that proper New Jersey energy.
The festival had a pretty interesting dynamic. There are definitely pros and cons to having a festival on the beach.
The most negative impact, in my opinion, was the crowding issue. To have a main stage along the ocean is challenging because you are only so limited to expanding the space with a boardwalk blocking the other side. The festival was most crowded this year, so people were taking up space on the boardwalk which is initially meant to be a passageway, and therefore becomes a huge safety hazard.
But that said, I want to highlight a very special experience.
The Breeders, who performed on the sand during some light rain, brought in the most admirable energy the entire weekend. Kim Deal, who was formerly with The Pixies and now front woman of The Breeders, shared the influence of an imperfectly perfect performance. Playing their 30-year-old Last Splash project all the way through, they expressed a certain kind of vulnerability with the crowd, synergetically talking through their process and making jokes along the way.
The magic of music authenticity in festival spaces can be so crucial when you don’t realize you needed it most in that moment. I got that this weekend, so feeling very grateful.
If you plan on doing any music sightseeing this week, let us know so we can share your experience with the community!
A PRODUCE SO NICE WE REVIEWED IT TWICE (and are giving one away). Nectar here, quickly plugging the giveaway with ENO. These things RIP, figuratively, not literally. Opinion, hammocks should be available in all aspects of life, coffee shops, dentist waiting rooms, etc. The Festies at HQ agree, will the world follow suit?
Either way, WE’RE GIVING AWAY A HAMMOCK!!! Have your friends subscribe to this newsletter to enter to win!!
Now, the product expert, Lina.
After a long night of dancing on your feet (maybe even until the sun rises for some of us party animals out there), one of the best ways to recover is to rest your bones in a comfy hammock. Eagles Nest Outfitters (ENO) is a tried and trusted festie favorite hammock company based out of the green treetops of Asheville, NC. Lina had the amazing opportunity to chat with Stephanie, Eno’s Key Account Coordinator, and learned some fun history and gems about hammock life in The Forest. Stay tuned to read that blog post.
