Goooood morning Festies! My 60’s/70’s rock playlist is queued in order to cope with the exponentially chilly weather here in Brooklyn. “Summer Breeze” feels a little more like “Fall Freeze”… R.I.P. to Rudolph Isley, thank you for creating unforgettable memories for the world. But sometimes you just have to remind yourself that the summer selects can carry year-round if you need it to, right? It’s either that or Blonde, and once Frank Ocean starts playing, I must surrender to whatever emotions decide to come out. 🥲
Who do you typically listen to during this time of year? Let me know, inspire me.
Anyways, we have lots going on from our end. Planning our Fest Quest destinations, the New Year, and meeting wonderful new faces that want to share their story and talent with the Festisia community. We see lots of you hitting some great Fall shows, and that’s what we like to see. Share your recap with us, we want to know. The more the merrier. Cheers!

The other day, Festisia had the privilege to meet Van Life Ravers, the young duo who chose the nomadic festival lifestyle. Some may call it Wookery, but we see it as opportunity. Choosing an unconventional life path for the purpose of passion is something hard to do, but once you press the “Go” button, the world becomes your oyster.
We see a conglomerate of vans and RVs at music festivals. There are even festivals specifically for van and RV homeowners. Don’t you ever wonder, “Are these people here for the long ride?” Well, yes, it’s entirely possible. Working remotely and/or finding jobs along the way of a destination journey has its challenges, but also enables the possibility of exploring new spaces, new faces and new music. It brings spontaneity to the spotlight.
We learned a lot from Reina and Leo, but here are some highlights: Their favorite parts of festival van-life mean that they have their entire home with them. Living life minimally. It’s always an easy camp set-up and clean-up. Most importantly, they can drive to any festival they want!
It's not always glorious with gas and mechanical costs, or having electrical power issues on cloudy days. Sometimes they endure obstacles leveling out at hilly campgrounds, but a little party never killed nobody! It’s all worth it.
No updates from us… However, follow us along this weekend as we hit III Points. Welcome to Miami!
I know that Chuck Energy will appreciate this one. Step into the world of Chris Stussy, a DJ who has absolutely blown our minds this year.
Oh, and if you haven’t already figured this one out, pretty much anyone can become a DJ…
Tru Beverages- Enhanced Sparking Water
It’s difficult being creative, and sometimes you need help. The old days are gone of chugging a sugary drink when going to shows, to keep writing, keep making music. We’re more intune with our minds and bodies now, and Tru knows that. Each drink helps with a function you need whether you’re ramping up the day or winding it down. “Energy” is great for staying up at a festival, then “Rescue” and “Defend” are perfect for the re-charge in the morning. “Focus” is the pick, and probably “Beauty” for me, given what I just saw in the mirror LOL.

Spotify’s latest feature, daylist, is an ever-evolving playlist specially curated for the ebbs and flows of your mood. It changes every few hours and digs into the micro genres of your interest. It’s pretty amazing how AI knows exactly what we didn’t know we needed to hear. Here’s mine for reference:
