Boy, am I exhausted! The post-festival fatigue is real, but what a wild ride itâs been. The content crew Chris and Jeff, joined me for a 3-day festival detour between Osheaga Festival in Montreal and Lollapalooza in Chicago this past weekend. Youâll read more about the craziness, but I got off the plane from festivities just to get a notification that itâs time to check in to my next flight for even more festivities. Woof! Weâre always moving forward with our next destination, and this time itâs Outside Lands! Not just getting out in the field, we will be a part of the field for an unforgettable time. We introduce to you, the Electric Bubble Tea Test this year with YOUNG & SICK and Grand Artique to give you a transformative portal into a universe of music and mesmerizing artistry. Find the psychedelic fun along Mclaren Pass and join us for bubbles, tunes and tons of surprises. If youâre headed to San Francisco, be sure to let us know. If not, you will be missed, but with us in spirit. Let the fun begin!

As we make our way over to the West Coast for our next festive adventures at Outside Lands, Iâd like to highlight another West Coast artist that has always been an inspiration to Festisia: Amber Vittoria. She is an artist, poet, and author and âthrough abstract form, ribbons of color and joyous words, her work aims to represent the nuances of womanhood.â She recently published a book of paintings and poems, now our leading pioneer of women in the arts. One of my favorite collabs that sheâs done is with streetwear brand The Hundreds, where a reimagined version of The Hundredsâ logo and Amberâs âJPEG Collectorâ crewneck were sold out as a limited edition at NFT NYC. Amber is filled with vibrancy and intention, and Festisia is always looking forward to what she produces next⌠Definitely check out her work.
We all have our feelings and opinions about the secondary ticket market, so I appreciate the bridging of disconnect and confusion that lies within is this topic, and especially with an important player in the game. Let us know your thoughts⌠đľâđŤ
Other stories to check this week:
While half of the Festisia community is still recovering from the Phish fun, me, Chris and Jeff ventured out to Montreal and Chicago for two of the most anticipated festivals: Lollapalooza and Osheaga.
What a wild run that was. My brain is complete Mac nâ Cheese from the 6am flight-to-late night pipeline. That said, the boys and I met extremely fun characters and weâre excited to share some interviews that went down. The music scene translated over between the two festivals, so artists that I missed a chance to see at Osheaga ended up performing at Lolla, and vice versa. However, I missed a few folks AKA Fred again⌠But, some favorite sets of the weekend were definitely The Flaming Lips as they performed their 2002 album Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots, where Wayne Coyne would dance next to giant pink robots precisely, and throw giant balls that would explode with glitter, all while wearing a Superman Snuggie. Voila! I also enjoyed seeing Sofi Tukker and of course, one of my favorite bands EVER, the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
It was my first time visiting both cities, and I felt like an innocent child beaming with curiosity and light. Those moments donât happen often, but to mesh that with new destinations, cultures, AND a new music festival? I donât think it can get better than that. Stay tuned for our content and some blog posts discussing the weekend through and through.
I also documented the 3-day excursion in my considerable first vlog style format. I hope it brings you some insight as to how my weekend looked.
If you did some music sightseeing during your week, let us know so we can share your experience with the community!
One of our pillars here at HQ is helping Festies see MORE shows. As the old Festisian proverb states, âHard to attend shows if your hearing goes!â. Maybe itâs a proverb, maybe I just made it up? Can anyone hear me?!
Our good friends at Eargasm are Festies themselves and have been educating the masses for years with their High Fidelity Earplugs. The large hole in the industry was this, foam earplugs block all sounds coming in, good for sleeping, not for Kendrick sets. The key is to filter sound to a manageable level, rather than block it out completely. In audio, âfidelityâ is defined as how accurately sound is reproduced. In the 1950s, the terms âhigh fidelityâ or âhi-fiâ were popularized for equipment and recordings which exhibited more accurate sound reproduction (i.e. hearing the same quality music at a lower, less harmful level). These earplugs are so good they even apply to daily life, saving hearing while allowing people to operate at work, out to dinner, etc.
As I said before, they are Festies at heart and have some cool partnerships this year with Electric Forest, Lollapalooza and (where weâre currently flying to), Outside Lands! They not only sell online, but on-site at these events, key for the forgetful Festie.
Come check out Eargasm at Outside Lands!
Theyâve also hooked us up with an EXCLUSIVE 15% off code, so contact us for that đ¤Š

If you havenât yet made your way over to our Spotify, weâre here to make sure you donât miss out. The best way to introduce our team is through expressing their sonic muse. YOUNG & SICK, our artist in residency deserves a spotlight for his great taste and upcoming appearance at Outside Lands:
